Breaking the mold in blended Scotch whisky, The Sassenach boasts an ornate composition of predominately Single Malt whisky aged between 9 and 12 years and bourbon barrel-aged 21-year-old Organic Single Grain, finished in Madeira casks.
The Sassenach emphasizes the fruity character of the Single Malt, while the organic Grain evokes a balanced subtle flavor, and the Madeira casks impart an added richness and complexity to the fruit notes with a roundness from their maturity. Bottled at 46%, The Sassenach is non-chill filtered and uses exclusively natural color – just as nature intended.

Pioneering techniques revealed the clean, fresh, and vibrant notes of apples, berries, and juniper, which were gently balanced with the savory undertones of rhubarb and toasted oats. Pine and floral heather accents evoke the aromatic natural heritage of Sam’s Scottish homeland.

The Sassenach Select El Tequileño Double Wood Reposado is a small-batch, limited edition aged tequila, handcrafted using the finest matured agave from the Highlands of Jalisco and mineral-rich water from Volcán de Tequila. It was distilled in traditional copper pot stills, aged for two years in American oak barrels – a process known as ‘reposado’ – and finished for four months in French oak barrels.
